Great Remodeling Results With A Ridgid Table Saw
My wife and I recently decided to do some remodeling. I told her I would do it, but she said that she didn’t trust me with power tools. Well, I decided to do it anyway. After a trip to the hardware store and a few subsequent failed attempts at building a wall, we decide to let a professional handle it. We made a few calls and finally decided to go with a local remodeling company. When the showed up, I was surprised to see that it was just two guys in a truck. My wife and I had intended to build another bedroom, so I was expecting a crew of workers.
It was just two guys and truck full of lumber. I said “Well, let’s just see what happens.” While they were bringing in their tools, I noticed that they had a Ridgid table saw. I really liked the way it looked. It was like ones I have seen on TV. I asked the guy who was setting it up how much he had paid for it. I was really surprised at the answer. He must have gotten a great deal because this is a great saw. Ridgid table saws are known to be some of the best in the business. I let the guys start working and left them alone for a little while. When I came back about two hours later, I could not believe what I saw. The bedroom was practically finished!
I was sure that they were hiding some other people somewhere, because there was no way these two guys could have done that much work in two hours. I told them of my surprise and they just laughed. “Its all thanks to our Ridgid portable saw!” they said. Well, I believed them, but I wanted to stick around and see some of the action. I watched as the Ridgid table saw ripped through the planks of wood like a hot knife through butter. The 15 Amp motor was more than powerful enough to last these guys all day.
I really liked the way the guys used the micro adjust fence to perform fine adjustments when they were working on the crown molding. I admired how the motor started and stopped softly, I guessed that this would extend the life of the motor as time went on. Those guys at Ridgid have thought of everything. Next time, I am buying a Ridgid portable table saw and doing it myself. I don’t care what my wife says!
